Implementation of production hall gross superstructure
Kvapil, Michal ; Kučera, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kantová, Radka (advisor)
Writing of this bachelor thesis was stimulated by the construction of a new production hall in my hometown. It had been a long time since a similar project was dealt with in this town, and therefore it aroused my interest. The bachelor thesis includes the description and technical documentation for the construction of the reinforced concrete building frame of the production hall of the M&T company in Dobruška. The aim of this thesis is to solve the method and potential problems of the construction. I focused on the ceiling of the administrative part of the building. Contrary to the original technical documentation, I suggested cheaper and more time-saving solution of the ceiling: using the prestressed hollow core slab SPIROLL instead of the reinforced concrete composite floor slab FILIGRAN and concreting of the ceiling. I suggested this solution on the basis of my personal experience with the implementation of various types of the ceiling, and the subsequent analysis of their advantages and disadvantages. My suggested solution of the ceiling caused the reduction of this stage’s costs by 13% and the time reduction by 71% of working time. The other aim of this thesis was to solve the problems with the excessive and oversize transportation of the reinforced concrete roof trusses. In the end, these transportation problems together with the financial aspects resulted in the revision of the original technical documentation. The investor decided for the less demanding solution of the construction and for the shorter span of the hall. As for the concreting machinery, I suggested to use the machines (mixer truck and mobile concrete pump) from the nearby concrete plant to reduce the total transportation costs. The main contribution of the bachelor thesis is acquaintance with the construction of the reinforced concrete building frame and with practical verification and comparison of two different solutions of one construction with respect to the financial and time investments

High standard detached house on a slope
Pavelka, Šimon Václav ; Šoulová, Eva (referee) ; Utíkalová, Ivana (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to elaborate project documentation of construction of a high standard detached house on a slope. The building is self-standing and is set on a sloping terrain in the cadastral territory of the city of Brno, in the district Žabovřesky. The ground plan of the house is designed in the shape of letter L. One storey is partly in basement, one storey is planted in the terrain and one is above ground. Garage for four cars is part of the building connected to the house by a fire door in the vestibule. The roof is designed flat and vegetative. The entrance to the building is situated from the northern side. Here is also the entrance to the ground which is from the adjacent local road. The construction system is made of reinforced concrete skeleton consisting of columns and beams. The KMB Sendwix panel has a contact isolation system. Horizontal constructions are designed from pre-stressed Spiroll ceiling panels and KMB Sendwix system components. The internal and external stairwells are reinforced concrete, prefabricate. Through the leeward to the basement on the ground floor of the building, we enter the residential part of the family house, but also into the garage and dressing room. From the hall we get to the study, the room with toilet and bathroom. The bedroom are includes with a dressing room, a bathroom and a toilet. Fire station
Wrana, Lukáš ; Šteffek, Libor (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is to create a project documentation of the design of new construction of fire station in Šumperk. The fire station is designed according to ČSN 73 5710 as a C type station that will be used by professional fire brigade of Olomouc district. The object is structurally divided into two parts - a masonry building, and a reinforced concrete frame. The administrative part of the building together with the base of the fire brigade, technical room, and a fire tower are designed as a masonry building made of Ytong cellular concrete units. One of the parts is designed as a two-level object, while the technical room and the fire tower are designed as a sigle-level object. The circumferential masonry is insulated by contact thermal insulation system. The floor construction is made of Spiroll prestressed floor slabs. The roof is designed as a warm flat roof. The garage is a single-level building with built-in structure of storerooms in part of the garage. The precast reinforced concrete frame is set on foundation pads and foundation sills. The horizontal and vertical supporting structure consists of reinforced concrete parts – columns, Spiroll floor slabs, floor girders, sway frames, purlins and small purlins. The whole object is covered by a warm flat roof. The external cladding consists of PUR isolating sanwich panels.
